4. My Favorite Blog Post From This Year
I chose this to be my favorite post because I think it includes better photographs than the ones I took before.
I feel like it waas the most appealing post because I organized it well.
I really enjoyed that assignment, more than I enjoyed the previous ones because my group worked more efficiently those days.

5. This is my favorite photograph because this portrait of Brittany emphasizes on her face more. The first thing I look at is her facial expression, which I absolutely like. The color is vivid and I just like this photo overall. I don't think it is a boring-looking photograph.

6. I think this is my best photograph because I think the photo itself has artful aspects like lines, and pattern, behind Mayra.
I cropped it so the rule of thirds is used to catch her face. The exposure and white balance was slightly fixed so the light and shadows contrast around her face, making her face's skin pop out more. I think I caught her at a good time to take a photo.

7. Three things I like about working in a group is that:

We can help each other out when don't understand or pay attention to things
It makes photo more fun when other people enjoy it with you
Everyone contributes ideas to make the assignment better

Three things I don't like about working in a group is that:

You are not only responsible for youself, but for them also. Fault also goes on you for their wrongdoings, or your mistakes on them.
Sometimes you can't control everything, and end up having to fix it for everyone.
It takes longer to choose what to do because we all need too agree and disagree.

13. I think Mr. Farley has a "hecka free zone" because we are kinda left free to go anywhere on campus as long as we come back on time, which most people still don't do, so it's semi-laid back.

First Semester Final Project

I like this photograph because the pattern of lines behind Brittany make her stand out. The few lines on her sleeve are slightly enhanced. There's little things in the photo that I like to look at in this picture that make it a nice picture to me overall. I fixed the temperature to be warmer and lessened the saturation to match the temperature when I took it- cloudy winds, but hot.

I like this photo because Chris looks super cool. I edited the photo's temperature to make it as cool as him. It reminds me of someone skipping class, hanging out in a movie. Again with the pattern behind him clash with his pants, but somehow, instead of becoming less appealing to look at, I personally like them together.

I like this picture because I felt like the lighting hit her face wonderfully. I took the photo as she turned around and it became very natural, which explains why I did not edit the photo that much. I think she is extremely photogenic.

I like this photo because Mayra looks extremely ravishing. She looks like she is taking in the sun hitting her face. She is focused on, due to editing, and it was just a memorable picture, because she thought I hadn't took the picture yet.

I like this photo because Dante is bright. I edited it so that his face is partially bright and shadowed. His pocket is an eye-catcher. I thought of a bully, with him in the shadows, dark and mysterious, which obviously to me is not who he is, I liked how this picture represented him.

MASTERS PHOTOS

Philippe Halsman was born of Russian, but became an American photographer during the early 1940s. He moved to New York. He was known for taking pictures of very known people in history: Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, Walt Disney, the Ford Family. Halsman was known for his jumping photographs, that he made into his own book, based on "jumpology". He took photographs jumping and not jumping, but showed the real selves while on the ground, and a type of self he brings out of them when they jump, where the mask falls off and the real person appears. Halsman followed many rules like "having an unusual feature", "having a direct approach", "having a missing feature", and other unique qualities within his photographs.

Our group was inspired by his Jumpology photographs where various moves are made in the air. We chose to duplicate some specific pictures. One for instance, there was two guys jumping into the air holding each other with expression full faces; Our interpretation was having Mayra and I jump holding hands rather than each other. Another specific photo we chose to duplicate was the man who had a chill face barely lifting off the floor, and our rendition included Darnell with Chris, on the phone barely lifting off the floor toward each other. In that picture we included Halsman's unusual feature rule.
